Plan a Theme Park Trip for Foreign Visitors
Imagine you are a tour guide for visitors coming to Japan. You will plan a special two-day trip for them at either Tokyo Disneyland or Universal Studios Japan.
Your Task:
Choose:
How many people are in your group.
Which foreign country they are from.
What kind of budget they have (budget, average, or luxury).
Which park you will visit (Tokyo Disneyland or Universal Studios Japan).
Research: Use the internet to find out about ticket prices, food, things to do, and any special tips for the park. Think about the interests of your visitors.
Plan: Make a detailed plan for two days at the park. Include which rides to go on, where to eat, and how to get around. Remember your budget!
Present: Prepare a two-minute speech to tell your classmates (pretending they are the visitors) about your plan. Make it fun and interesting!
What To Think About:
Good Research: Did you use your research to make a good plan?
Clear Speech: Is your speech easy to understand?
Interesting: Did you make your classmates want to go on the trip?
Persuasive: Did you make your classmates believe your plan is the best?
You will give your speech in the next class. Be ready to answer questions too!
